ABOUT US
WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of enthusiastic adults who maintain an interest in lifelong learning. We are a self-funded, not-for-profit association managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. BALL was formed in 1999 to celebrate the United Nations International Year of Older Persons.
OUR MISSION:
The purpose of the Bluewater Association for Lifelong Learning is to create stimulating learning opportunities and promote community connections.
OUR VISION:
Creating a permanent and lifelong learning presence in the community.
We strive to offer lectures that provide cultural and creative experiences in both historical, scientific and contemporary subjects, which are relevant and meaningful to adults. Through our strong base of volunteers, including our Program Planning Committee, we will continue to bring both timely and interesting topics to all future BALL Lecture Series.
